The Biking Bunch – Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m.
Jump on your bike and hit Little Traverse Wheelway as a group. This 26 mile path is a great way exercise while enjoying the great outdoors and sights of Bay Harbor. The group meets at the front office at 9 a.m.

Lodge Cookout – Wednesdays 6 p.m.
Join your resort neighbors on Wednesday evenings for a Lodge Cookout! Menu items will vary weekly and it’s BYOB. Payment will be received by credit card on file with resort. Every Starting May 24th through September 6th from 2-6pm at The Village at Bay Habor. The open market offers hand-selected organic farmers, food and handmade artisans to be a part of our First Annual Open Air Market. The market will take place on the grounds of Bay Harbor, with the backdrop of sparkling Lake Michigan! Their vendors give attention to everything they create, produce, or grow working from a place of passion and this is seen in their faces and what they bring to the markets. BOYNE CITY FARMERS MARKET
The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8am–12pm. May through October in beautiful Veterans Park. There’s also a carnival, horse and tractor pulls, an oldies night, parades and a motor cycle show. Bring your polka shoes and plan on having a blast. Hours each day are generally 11arn to 11 pm.

o    August 10-11, 2013 – The 40th Annual Antique Auto Show and Flea Market, Spectator admission is free for this popular Boyne City event on the shore of beautiful Lake Charlevoix. o    August 10 to 11, 2013 – The 22nd Annual Odawa Homecoming Jiingtamok (Pow Pow), admission to this cultural event at the LTBB Governmental Center on Pleasantview Road in Harbor Springs, is free and open to the general public. Singing and dancing are a big part of the festivities and don’t miss the drum contest and Miss Odawa Contest. Grand entry times are 1 pm and 7 pm on Saturday and noon on Sunday.

o    August 22, 2013 – Dark Sky Events, TRUE-BLUE WITH THE PERSEID METEOR SHOWERS: August is full of exciting astronomy, including the most prevalent meteor shower of the season, the Perseids, and this year’s only Blue Moon.
