The Morning Perk - Daily 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
We’re making it easier to meet and connect with your neighbors this summer. Wake up and head to the resort clubhouse for daily complimentary coffee, orange juice, muffins and pastries.

Margaritaville on the Bay - Mondays 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Every Monday, relax poolside while enjoying the musical stylings of Kirby Snively, sipping complimentary margaritas, and snacking on chips and salsa and nacho cheese.

The Biking Bunch – Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m.
Jump on your bike and hit Little Traverse Wheelway as a group. This 26 mile path is a great way exercise while enjoying the great outdoors and sights of Bay Harbor. The group meets at the front office at 9 a.m.

Lodge Cookout – Wednesdays 6 p.m.
Join your resort neighbors on Wednesday evenings for a Lodge Cookout! Menu items will vary weekly and it’s BYOB. Payment will be received by credit card on file with resort. Reservations are required for planning purposes, so please sign up at the Resort Office or the lodge. For more information, please call 231-348-2400.

“Rides to Riches” at Odawa Casino – Daily
Daily complimentary transportation to the Odawa Casino courtesy of Bay Harbor Motorcoach Resort. Test your luck or test your skill at your choice of 1,300 slot machines, gaming tables, high limit and poker rooms. The casino also has several dining options, the O Zone Dance Club, a Saturday Comedy night and summer concert series. Additional information is available in our resort office. Cocktail Party – Fridays 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Evening of Autumn – Sundays 8 p.m.

That’s right…BYOG or Bring Your Own Game. Don’t have one? Don’t worry, use one of ours. Challenge your friends to a game of Domino’s, Pinochle, Euchar, Poker and or Billiards. Playing cards, poker chips and several other board games are available for use.

Every Friday from 8:30am-12:30pm, Petoskey has it’s fabulous Farmer’s Market located on the 400 block between Mitchell and Michigan St.

BAY HARBOR OPEN MARKET
Every Starting May 24th through September 6th from 2-6pm at The Village at Bay Habor. The open market offers hand-selected organic farmers, food and handmade artisans to be a part of our First Annual Open Air Market. The market will take place on the grounds of Bay Harbor, with the backdrop of sparkling Lake Michigan! Their vendors give attention to everything they create, produce, or grow working from a place of passion and this is seen in their faces and what they bring to the markets. We welcome all to bring your favorite chair and listen to local musicians, sample gourmet foods and pick up fresh produce or organic meats to support our wonderful local farmers. You can also enjoy unique goods from local artisans, and find that perfect treasure to take home with you.

BOYNE CITY FARMERS MARKET
The market is open every Wednesday and Saturday from 8am–12pm. May through October in beautiful Veterans Park. The market boasts more than 70 regular producer vendors, all local and all serving the best that northern Lower Michigan has to offer including seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs; gourmet baked goods and preserves; eggs and cheese; honey and maple syrup; meat, poultry and fish, potted annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs, and cut flowers; plus a juried craft market with unique hand-made items for your home or a special gift. Several special events are planned throughout the season including chef demonstrations and children’s activities. 55th ANNUAL LABOR DAY BRIDGE WALK - Monday, September 2rd
A 5 mile walk across the world’s longest bridge of this kind. Thousands of folks will walk the Mighty Mac on the one day of year that foot traffic is allowed. BAY HARBOR HOME TOUR
The 9th Annual Bay Harbor Home Tour will take place September 14, 2013. Enjoy a trolley ride through the lovely community of Bay Harbor, stopping along the way to some magnificent homes all while benefitting the Bay Harbor Foundation. There will be four times available for the tour: 9am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

o    June 14-16, 2013 – The l0th Annual In-Water Boat, at the Bay Harbor Lake Marina. This year’s show will feature in water displays from personal water craft to luxury yachts as well as diverse on-land displays. Friday, 3pm-8pm, Saturday, 10am-8pm and Sunday 10 am- 3 pm.

o    June 15, 2013 – Historic Festival & Taste of the North, The Little Traverse Regional Historical Society will host the 32nd annual Historical Festival & Taste of the North starting at 10 am. o    June 16-17, 2013 – Summer Solstice Art Show, The 14th Annual Summer Solstice Art Show will take place in Downtown, Charlevoix at East Park. Show hours are Saturday, 10am to 5pm and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. The show features quality artdisplayed on the shores of scenic Round Lake Harbor.

o    July 4, 2013 – Parade on Main Street at the Village at Bay Harbor. Join us from noon to 1 pm as we celebrate the 4th of July with our Bay Harbor Main Street Parade which is as unique as it is fun! See decorated GEM cars and amazing costumes parade down Main Street. Also featuring the amazing sounds of the Petoskey High School Marching Band. Lots of fun and candy for the kids too!

o    July 6-7, 2013 – Antiques at the Fairgrounds, This popular show, at the Emmet County Fairgrounds, will feature dealers from around the country. There will be a huge array of high quality antique merchandise from the smallest collectibles, jewelry, to a wide range of antique furniture, pottery, china, textiles, prints and more. If you can’t make this show, come see us on August 4 & 5 – same place! Admission is $5.00 per person (good for both days), children under 15 admitted free. Parking is FREE! Show times are 9:00am – 5:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday.

o    July 12-28, 2013 – Annual Harbor Springs Womens Club Art Fest, this terrific juried art show draws as many as 120 artists from across the country; gather at Nub’s Nob, from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Artists as well as fairgoers look forward to this premier event every year. Admission is only $3 per person and children 12 and under will be admitted free. o    July 24, 2013 –  Dark Sky Events, SUMMER STARGAZING TIPS- TOP 40 STYLE: Guests will gather under waxing moonlight to prep for summer meteor showers and the end of Venus’ retrograde motion. Learn about what to look for and where in the night sky over the Northern Hemisphere from 9 to 11pm. The events take place rain or shine. o    July 25-27, 2013 – Northern Michigan Flywheelers Antique TractorEngine & Craft Show, at the Flywheelers Show Grounds, on US 131, south of Petoskey (between Walloon and Boyne Falls). Working blacksmith and tractor scales, basket factory & veneer mill, old machinery in operation, steam engines and lots more at this annual family event. It’s a step back in time that the whole family will love. In addition to the history, you’ll find a flea market, arts, crafts and a great deal of music!

o    July 25-27, 2013 – Fiber Arts Festival, It will be a shopping extravaganza with more than 50 artists showcasing their hand made goods starting at 10 am each day at Castle Farms. There will be live animals, interactive demonstrations, and sheep dogs at work, sheep shearing presentations and a fashion show.

o    August 1-4, 2013  - The 39th Annual Polish Festival, This is a Northern Michigan tradition in Boyne Falls you don’t want to miss. Polish food and Polish music are just the beginning. There’s also a carnival, horse and tractor pulls, an oldies night, parades and a motor cycle show. Bring your polka shoes and plan on having a blast. Hours each day are generally 11arn to 11 pm.

o    August 3 to 4, 2013 – The 51th Annual Portside Art Fair, at the Elm Pointe Estate on M-66 in East Jordan. This family-friendly, outdoor juried art fair is a wonderful event. There is a children’s activity booth, on-site historical museum, food booth, swim and picnic areas. Free admission and parking. Show hours are Saturday from 10am to 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm.

o    August 10-11, 2013 – The 40th Annual Antique Auto Show and Flea Market, Spectator admission is free for this popular Boyne City event on the shore of beautiful Lake Charlevoix. o    August 10 to 11, 2013 – The 22nd Annual Odawa Homecoming Jiingtamok (Pow Pow), admission to this cultural event at the LTBB Governmental Center on Pleasantview Road in Harbor Springs, is free and open to the general public. Singing and dancing are a big part of the festivities and don’t miss the drum contest and Miss Odawa Contest. Grand entry times are 1 pm and 7 pm on Saturday and noon on Sunday.

o    August 22, 2013 – Dark Sky Events, TRUE-BLUE WITH THE PERSEID METEOR SHOWERS: August is full of exciting astronomy, including the most prevalent meteor shower of the season, the Perseids, and this year’s only Blue Moon. Perseids are expected to be favorable this year, given their proximity to New Moon. Beginning at 9 p.m. The events take place rain or shine. o    August 16 to 25, 2013 – Emmet-Charlevoix County Fair, at the Emmet-Charlevoix County Fairgrounds on U.S. 31 in Petoskey. Fun, Fun, and more fun! o    September 1, 2013 – Annual Labor Day Weekend Drag Race, They’ll be putting the pedal to the metal at the Annual Boyne City Police Department Memorial Day Drag Race, from 12 to 6 pm. Join in the fun and excitement as cars, motorcycles, diesel trucks and snowmobiles compete for the best times and to break track records. o    September 7-8, 2013 – Harbor Springs Cycling Classic, Join us for a wonderful  bike ride along roads with minimal traffic and beautiful scenery. There are three mileage routes to choose from: 20 miles, 42 miles and 61 miles. Novice to advanced riders is always pleased with the routes and the barbecue lunch that follows the ride. Fall Festival Weekends, Pond Hill Farm, Harbor Springs. Enjoy Traditional Fall favorites such as hot cider and donuts, caramel apples, a farm market and huge pumpkin patch.
